Possession
***THIS IS JUST THE TUTORIAL DEMO***
Possession: Your body is not your own.
Your next action is.
A first-person infiltration game where taking control of people and machines opens paths your current identity cannot.
The door isn't the puzzle. The identity is.
A stocker belongs on the sales floor. A backroom worker can go where customers cannot. A manager has permissions neither of them has.
You are a hacker who can take control of all three.
In Possession, changing hosts changes your possibilities. Borrow someone's abilities, slip into places they belong, and turn an ordinary machine into your next way forward. The person who can solve your problem might be across the room. Reaching them is another puzzle.
Who can get through? What can they do? How do you get to them?
There is ALWAYS someone watching
People notice when something isn't right. Draw too much attention and your borrowed identity might not protect you.
Sometimes the best move is to stop, step away, and let suspicion settle. Sometimes you need a different host... or a completely different plan.
Checkpoints give you another chance without undoing what you've accomplished. But those chances are limited. Experiment, learn from your mistakes, and find a way through before you run out.
Start small. See the bigger picture.
The first campaign, The System Lies, begins at Big Bill's Grocery. An ordinary workplace becomes a puzzle about who is allowed to do what. Learn your powers through the lives of its employees, then discover where those powers can take you.
The planned story expands through:
- The System's Keepers: Revisit the original story as a corporate PMC investigator.
- A Mom's Regret: Discover the events leading to the end of the world order.
- Cog In The Machine: A semi-comedic campaign following the most unfortunate guy in this new world
Each campaign joins with the others to make one cohesive story from multiple viewpoints and revelations.
These campaigns are being developed, not presented as finished content.
There is a planned KickStarter soon... Look forward to it!
